2021 Northern California Wine Bus Tour Through Foothills Wineries
I was privileged to be invited onto a friend’s annual wine tour bus to experience the beautiful wine country with 20 other enthusiasts. Our wine trail took us through the rolling foothills where three of the best wineries that Northern California has to offer are nestled away amongst their rolling vineyards.
The first destination on our journey was Iron Hub Winery. They have a beautiful winery that sits atop the highest point in their vineyard, offering generous outdoor seating and panoramic views of the area.
Second, we visited the popular Rombauer Estates Winery, where they encourage a lively outdoor atmosphere with plenty of seating for groups large and small. And the wine is out of this world.
Our third and final winery was Villa Toscano, which I think is particularly memorable for the immaculately groomed grounds. They really captured the essence of a Tuscan estate, with their statues, water features and gorgeous club house.
With perfect weather, epic views and a great crew of people to enjoy them with, the day took on an almost magical quality from the very first winery.
More than a handful of our crew are in real estate and I want to give some recognition here to the people who made it happen for me. Our generous patron, who rented the bus, Ed Favinger is a property manager with Realty World. He and my dad go way back. My dad, Richard West is the broker for Franklin West Real Estate. My step mom, Cristi West, is mortgage officer for Best Capital Funding. My family used to run an online wine brokerage and enjoying the nectar of the vineyards remains to this day one of our favorite past times.
I made this video to capture some great moments from our tour through California’s gorgeous wine country.
